Our Vision

At New Begin­nings, we believe the mak­ing of “more and bet­ter” dis­ci­ples requires TRAINING FOR TRANSFORMATION INTO CHRISTLIKENESS.  Becom­ing a dis­ci­ple, and becom­ing a bet­ter dis­ci­ple, involves train­ing and coop­er­a­tion with God and his Spirit to be inter­nally trans­formed into the char­ac­ter and like­ness of Jesus.

We feel that every­one needs three things to incor­po­rate into their train­ing plan to train for trans­for­ma­tion into Christlikeness:

1)  We all need to be INSPIRED to live the Chris­t­ian life in cor­po­rate wor­ship.  We believe one needs to com­mit to cor­po­rate wor­ship with God’s peo­ple to be con­sis­tently transformed.

2)  We all need to be INSTRUCTED in the truths and prac­tices of the Chris­t­ian life.  We do this on Sun­day morn­ing from 9:30–10:30 with our children’s Sun­day School and our Adult Education.

3) We all need to be INVOLVED in each other’s lives and the min­istry of the church.  We offer weekly small groups to build rela­tion­ships and to dis­cuss the trans­form­ing real­i­ties of God’s word spo­ken through Sunday’s sermon.
